I'm a Dork

Let me tell you how much of a dork I really am.

I was playing with my new Big Shot yesterday....and I bought the Baskets and Bloom die, and did not read that I needed the extended cutting pads to use with that die. So I remembered last week that I bought the scallop edge card die at Pat Catan, which also would need the extended pads. So......I called Pat Catan they had the extended pads for 16.00 great! I drive out Strongsville (in the rain...why is is always raining when I make these mad dash for supplies runs?)....and only plan to get the pads. However I see the all the other dies, and I'm thinking I really like that scallop circle die I think I'll get that one to......So onto why I'm a real dork.......I already bought the scallop die last week when I was at the store.

Okay now that you know I'm a dork.......On to more important things......

Weight Loss Blog Candy!!!!!

I lost .4 pounds but it was just enough to get me to a total of 30 pounds! YAY!!!!!

So you all know by now what that means...time for another round of blog candy.

And do I have some goodies for you!

You know the drill.....just leave me a comment of encouragement with my weight loss and you will have a chance to win! I'll draw the winner on Labor Day at 6:00 pm EST so make sure you check back to see if you won.
That's all for now. My daughter Sarah came home today for a short visit, so I'm going to go visit with her. We did go to Fashion Bug and 185.00 later I have some pants to wear to work along with some great tops. We shopped the clearance clothes, but I did splurge and bought some new fall shirts.

Wahoo for you! A dork does not lose 30 pounds. I mean I only have 9 more pounds before I hit that benchmark (and yes you helped)I know that I am not a dork!
We just double up on supplies because we get carried away with the creative possibilities of such great products. We tend to look at future possibilities, not ones passed.
Girl, You are doing it! 30#!!!!!
Keep it up, I KNOW you can!

Great job on the weight loss. I am so pleased for you each time you post your progress. I was particularily happy with how you handled the special night of baseball box seats and treats. By planning ahead and working out you allowed yourself to do a bit of indulging...and that is what life is all about, compromising. Keep up the good effort. jmniffer

Karen,
You look great! Congratulations, and keep going girl! Your daughter looks beautiful, and that is great if she and your son are developing life-long habits. And if you are a dork, so are so many of us--we see what we like and get it, forgetting that we already liked and got it. (I am on my daughter's user).
Keep it up,

Way to go! I recently joined Spark People to help me stay motivated to lose the weight I need to lose. Spark People is the best kept secret around, but very helpful (and free). The weight surely doesn't come off as easily as it went on, but it's worth the work and sacrifice.

Karen, You are an inspiration. I have been playing around with 3 pounds for the last couple of months. Up, then down. I'm lucky to have a supportive WW leader and group. Your story is very inspiring and will help motivate me to keep going to those meetings and keep eating healthy. Thanks for sharing!

Karen,

I miss you - and all your great ideas. Summer was crazy-busy and I really didn't have much time to check out your blog until now. It's quite impressive and I plan on visiting more often.

Way to go with WW - keep up the good work and inspiration.
