Coach

What does every girl want.....

A COACH bag!!!! Me and hubby went out to an early dinner at the Road House then we hit the mall to get in some walking as it was really to cold outside to walk. Played a game of Fire Fly golf (indoor golf that you play in black light....totally cool if you never have played it before...try it!)

Then we went out through Macy's and I told Skip I wanted just to stop and look at the Coach bags and he bought me the one I wanted. This is a new one with a center zipper pocket. For those of you who may remember Skip was going to buy me a Coach bag when I reached my goal weight, but since that is still a long way off he wanted to get me one earlier to celebrate all the hard work I've done to lose 85 pounds. Love the bag!!!!! Love Hubby too!

Want to Hear Something Sweet?

I was at the nursing home visiting mom this morning. I was telling
her about how Sarah had started moving out this week and that
John was going to move into her room as it was bigger. I'm going
to take John's old room and turn it into a sewing room, and I was telling
mom about this and how I have so many quilts that I want to get set
up so I can start quilting them, and she says clear as day " I'll help you"
I could have fell out of my chair when she said that. So looks like
I'll be bringing some stuff to the nursing home so she can supervise
and let me know how I'm doing.

I have mixed feelings about Sarah moving out. One thing did make me
feel better about it.....she told me yesterday as she was boxing her
belongings up....Mom I wouldn't move out if I didn't feel it was right for
me.

I'm happy for her. She's still working hard in her classes. I think she will
be able to get a good job once she graduates. My first born is grown up.

So it has been a busy and emotional weekend. Kat I did get your two
flat rate boxes mailed on Saturday. Hoping you receive them on Monday
or Tuesday. I have a few padded envelopes going out in tomorrows mail
for friends so be watching you mailboxes girls!

Oh and the raise I got at the first of the year showed up in this payday
so I'm happy about that. More money is always a blessing.

Sick

Just a quick post to let you know I will not be posting for a few days. I came down
with hubby's bug so now it's my turn to feel miserable.

Kat I couldn't go to Hollo's today for the cardstock as planned. I'll stop one day this
week when I'm feeling better. Enjoy your mom's visit.

Everyone stay healthy....no fun being sick!

New Year.....No Pudge

New Year with No Pudge!!!

John and I are both getting back on plan. I've been off mine since December, but I'm ready to get back on track. My goal for this year is to lose 40 pounds by Sept 30. That will get me to my goal weight by my 50th
birthday.

Okay now to the No Pudge Brownies.
These are so yummy and made using
just fat free yogurt. I've been hearing
about these and looking for them
everywhere. They finally have them
at Giant Eagle. 3.50 a box but well
worth it when you need a low fat
brownie fix.

I didn't have anyone to kiss last night as the ball dropped. Hubby went to bed early. He's pretty sick with a cold. Hacking, sneezing, and just miserable. Hoping I don't come down with it.

Everyone have a great New Year!!!!!!
