Now back to my card, and the Washi tape........

This is the first time I've used Washi Tape. SU has some pretty ones coming up in the new 2013-2014 catalog.

To make the rosette I cut a strip of Daffodil cardstock 1 inch x 8 1/2 inch. I added the Washi tape to the strip. After that the strip was scored 1/4 all the way across. After I pleated the folds I glued the ends together to form a ring then it was glued to a cardstock circle. I used the 1 3/8 circle punch for that. I find it is easier to use a low temp glue gun for the rosette. Holds together better. Lastly I added a vintage button which will also be in the new catalog. Love them!
