Adding Machine Tape with Lace Ribbon Punch

I like the look the lace ribbon punch gives to a card, but I don't always like

to punch it using cardstock. 

I picked up a roll of adding machine tape at Hollo's paper store for .45 cents. 

It works so well with the lace punch. 

I also think that once the piece was punched I could use an ink pad and brayer to add 

color if I didn't want it to be white. I'll have to try that.
